Ah, the early 1990s. It was a simpler time then -- Nancy Kerrigan got clubbed in the knee, Lorena Bobbitt was in the news and a young President Bill Clinton delivered his first State of the Union. But what was our current president up to during those times?

Buzzfeed has a rare video of an interview with the then-community organizer, who discussed his political ambitions, the book he was writing and his work with the ACORN-affiliated Project Vote.  Portions of this interview aired in the 2009 Obama documentary, "Becoming Barack."
