San Diego's Fireworks FAIL: Entire Show Goes Off at Once!

"off to a good start... the grand finale will be beautiful..."

Last night, tens of thousands gathered in and around San Diego Harbor for the Big Bay Boom fireworks show. The Glorietta Bay show is billed as one of the largest in the country and was supposed to be a 17-minute, pyrotechnic spectacular scheduled to start at 9pm. It wasn't.

Instead of seeing a choreographed, computer-controlled fireworks show synched to music, people saw less than a minute of chaos. Thanks to a glitch in the system, all of the explosives ignited at the same time.

Twenty minutes after the technical glitch happened, Harbor officials announced the bad news to the massive crowd. Needless to say, there are hundreds of YouTube videos of the failure. He offer a few for your review.

The woman heard in this clip has good instincts.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the mishap.

If you were there in San Diego and have video to share or one that is already posted on YouTube, please send it to TheBlaze.
