Congressional candidate who looks like Lady Gaga wrongly identified as Hispanic

Kyrsten Sinema (D) is running for Congress to represent Arizona's 9th district. She's not Hispanic. In fact, she's admittedly Dutch, according to The Daily Caller. The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), a nonprofit that promotes engagement by Latinos in politics, however, says they have Sinema marked as Hispanic.
Understandably, that's causing some problems for Sinema.
Sinema spokesman Rodd McCleod denied that the candidate self-identified as a Latina. “It’s not our mistake,” McCleod told the Phoenix New Times. “It’s NALEO’s mistake.”But a NALEO official told the outlet that the information came from Sinema or her office. “We rely heavily on self-identification,” NALEO’s Rosalind Gold said.
Okay, your skin doesn't have to be brown #43 in order to be Hispanic. We know that. But look at Sinema. She couldn't be whiter if she rolled in flour:
