Pelosi: Getting Booed During NAACP Speech Was a 'Calculated Move' by Romney

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a Bloomberg TV interview that getting booed at the NAACP Convention in Houston on Wednesday was "a calculated move" on the part of the GOP contender Mitt Romney.

A large portion of media coverage of the speech has focused on the crowd's negative reaction to Romney's open opposition to "Obamacare" and pitch that "if you want a president who will make things better in the African-American community, you are looking at him."

It should be noted that Romney also received a standing ovation at the speech's end. He also garnered applause when discussing the need to find solutions for improving employment in the African-American community and turning around the education system for the poor and those living in urban areas.

When asked on Bloomberg TV for her reaction to the boos, Rep. Pelosi readily responded while grinning, "Well, it was a calculated move on his part to get booed at the NAACP convention."

During a taped interview with Fox Business Network Wednesday Romney said he "expected" a negative reaction to his speech.
