Gruesome New Video Allegedly Shows Rebels Using Gadhafi's Dead Body Like a Dummy (Graphic)

A gruesome new video has been posted on YouTube that allegedly shows a group of rebels gleefully using the dead, lifeless body of ousted Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi like a "ventriloquist's doll," the Daily Mail reports.

The video was first linked on Twitter by a "Syrian activist" directing a threat at Syrian President Bashar Al Assad:

More from the Daily Mail:

The minute-long video, whose authenticity cannot be independently verified, seems to have been filmed on October 20 last year, the day Gaddafi was captured and killed by rebel troops.

It shows a confused scene of celebration as young men shout and cheer next to a van containing an apparently dead body which resembles the dictator.

In the video, a corpse resembling a dead Gadhafi is shown topless and covered in what appears to be blood. Many can be seen snapping pictures and recording the scene with their cell phones as one man works the dictator's head while talking in Arabic, seemingly mocking the deceased leader while others laugh.

The body is taken out of the van and placed on what looks like a stretcher.

The video can be seen in its entirety here (WARNING: The content of the video is extremely graphic and may be disturbing to some readers):

Gadhafi ruled Libya with an eccentric brutality for nearly 42 years until the country's uprisings in 2011 forced him into hiding and ultimately led to his capture by rebel forces in October. He was spared no mercy and was ultimately executed by rebels.
