A new USA Today poll shows most people age 60 and older are pretty upbeat about the past year of their lives and anticipate the next five to 10 years to be pretty good, too.
According to the poll, 42 percent of respondents said the past year has been "normal," 18 percent said "better than normal" or "a lot better than normal" and five percent said it was "the best yet."
The same age group is also optimistic about the future. Over the next five to ten years, 75 percent said they expect their lives to "stay about the same," "getsomewhat better" or "get much better."
Oh, to be old and... older.
