Sorry, That Was Hard to Watch': Megyn Kelly Chokes Up During Syria Report
August 15, 2012
"The boy screaming as doctors race to treat him under the threat of more attacks."
Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly had a very human moment on Wednesday when she became emotional and choked up during a report about the ongoing violence in Syria.
Kelly was describing new footage of a screaming young boy injured when government missiles struck a hospital in the rebel-held city of Aleppo.
"Look at that terrible picture," Kelly said. "The boy screaming as doctors race to treat him under the threat of more attacks."
She continued after the footage concluded: "It comes as the United Nations declared today that the Syrian regime...sorry, that was hard to watch," she said, her voice breaking. "...is committing war crimes against humanity."
