Democratic Sen. Touts Obama: 'Led the Mission' That Killed Bin Laden

The Weekly Standard flagged this snippet of Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) introducing President Barack Obama on the campaign trail Saturday, holding him up as the one who "led the mission that brought Osama bin Laden to justice."

"And let's not forget that this is the commander in chief who finally led the mission that brought Osama bin Laden to justice," Shaheen said.

Obama faced renewed criticism last week after a group of retired military and intelligence community members released a video blasting, among other things, what they said was his taking undue credit for killing the former Al-Qaeda leader.
