Jon Voight: Obama administration has 'endangered Israel

Actor Jon Voight blasted the Obama administration for refusing to say whether Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and said it has directly endangered the Jewish state with its handling of Iran.

"It's an indication of how they stand in terms of Israel," Voight told TheBlaze at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday. "They have had a very questionable relationship publicly, but on the other hand they've endangered Israel…with their statements about going back to the -- '67 borders."

Voight said the White House essentially undermined the 2009 Iranian uprising, choosing to stand "with the mullahs."

"They weren't on the side of the kids on the street, you know, who were trying to bring down this administration in Iran, you know this vile group that's running that country," Voight said. "We stood with them, we stood with the mullahs, against the kids in the street. In every way the Obama administration has endangered Israel."
