Welcome to Hell Week

Hell Week usually refers to the rigorous and grueling training for budding Navy SEALs or cadets of the police academy. I'm now applying the designation to politics -- namely the week of the Democratic National Convention.

Although last week's Republican National Convention meant longer work days, it was made easier listening to uplifting speeches about personal liberty, freedom, self-reliance and divine providence. This week, however, I'm bracing myself for elevated blood pressure and headaches, brought on by speech after speech I predict will talk about personal responsibility, yet offer no solutions embracing the idea.

But I will put myself through this torture to bring you the latest and to spare you from having to watch all of it. Like last week, we'll be having live chats with TheBlaze editors and continuing convention coverage.  I hope you'll stay tuned!
