Today is the day. OK, it's not THE day, but it is the day Apple releases their new iPhone 5. In New York and cities around the world like Sydney, Australia (below), devoted fans and even some protesters have been waiting in line for over a week.
In Wilmington, Delaware, the Apple Store had a healthy crowd. However, the first person did not camp out for days... He showed up on Thursday, less than 24 hours before the must-have phone's release.
One of the AT&T stores in the area had just seventeen people waiting outside. First in line was a Philadelphia man who had spent the night outside of the store. (Of course we asked him what he did when "nature called."
