"They are trying to pick the winners and losers and they don’t even do that very well.”
Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan compared President Barack Obama to the replacement referees during night's NFL game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers where a series of controversial calls -- and one very egregious one at the end -- by said referees led to a victory by the Seahawks.
"It reminds me of President Obama and the economy," Ryan, and avid Packers fan, said with a smile. "If you can't get it right, it's time to get out."
"I half think these refs work part for the Obama administration in the budget office," he added. "They see the national debt clock starring them in the face, they see a debt crisis and they just ignore and pretend it didn’t even happen. They are trying to pick the winners and losers and they don’t even do that very well.”
