Don't Miss This Chance to See a 'Molotov Cocktail' Explode in 100x Slow-Mo
October 02, 2012
"don't try this at home because of all the face melting and stuff."
There's something mesmerizing about fire. Perhaps you can better see why by watching it move 100 times slower than it does in real time in an explosion.
The gentlemen with The Slow Mo Guys YouTube channel have put together a video -- due to a high number of requests -- to show you just what this might look like. Their medium for creating the fire: throwing a "Molotov cocktail" (or a gasoline bomb) at a brick house.
Watch the footage, which Gav and Dan suggest you do in HD and with headphones for the best effect (Note: Start seeing the action in slow-mo at 1:45):
They write in the video's description "Don't do this yourself...you would be an idiot." More specifically, they say in the clip "don't try this at home because of all the face melting and stuff."
