Tonight's debate at Centre College in Danville, Ky., between Vice President Joe Biden and GOP challenger Rep. Paul Ryan will cover both foreign and domestic policy topics. ABC News chief foreign correspondent Martha Raddatz will serve as moderator. This is the only head-to-head moderated debate the two vice presidential contenders will have before voters go to the polls on November 6.
Format: The debate program starts at 9 p.m. ET and will be divided into nine timed segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond.
