Responding to MSNBC, Mitt Romney speaks for himself

Since MSNBC took it upon themselves to scrutinize Mitt Romney's efforts to help those effected by Hurricane Sandy this week, I thought I'd do a little research of my own. Just how sincere are Romney's efforts to help other human beings? Like most politicians, he's only nice when the cameras are rolling, right?

Wrong.

Here's Romney in November 2007 helping California residents clean up after wildfires destroyed their neighborhood.  And here's Mitt and his son Matt Romney clearly just pretending to care about people.

Here's Romney helping at a food bank benefiting victims of Colorado's wildfires.

Here's Gov. Romney voluntarily working as a garbage man.

And then there are stories like these:

One cold December day in the early 1980s, Mitt Romney loaded up his Gran Torino with firewood and brought it to the home of a single mother whose heat had been shut off just days before Christmas.

Years after a business partner died unexpectedly, Romney helped the man’s surviving daughter go to medical school with loans for tuition – loans he forgave when she graduated.

And in 1997, when a fellow church member’s teenage son fell seriously ill, Romney sprinted to the hospital in the dead of night, where he kept vigil with his terrified parents.

Should I go on?

If Andrea Mitchell wants to continue discussing Mitt Romney's character, she should do her homework...
