Hillary Clinton to Testify Before Congress About Libya in December

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify before Congress in December about the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, the chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee said Thursday.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) announced during her committee's hearing on Benghazi that Clinton would testify in early- to mid-December about the State Department's own Libya review findings. Clinton will speak before the House and Senate foreign affairs committees, Ros-Lehtinen said.

The hearings will be open, Fox News reported.

Clinton had previously been asked to testify during Thursday's House committee hearing but said she would be traveling abroad.

Four Americans died during the Sept. 11 U.S. Consulate assault.
