In a recent interview on the radio show "Tell Somebody," socialist professor Frances Fox Piven outlined the problem that she thinks could potentially end the life of the planet. That problem? Pollution and use of fossil fuels.
"Surely the biggest problem that we confront as a society" she said "is that we are the lead polluter in the world." Piven continued, "The planet has a very short life to expect if we continue to pollute at those rates."
The professor said the pollution came "mostly" from fossil fuels but nobody will crack down on the fossil fuel market because of the "economic fallout." She also derided both parties for making "claims that make people feel good about America."
