Member of Iran's Parliament: We Are 'Proud' to Supply Hamas With Rockets to Use Against Israel

On Monday, TheBlaze revealed that an Iranian freighter carrying a cargo of short and long-range Fajr-5 rockets was bound for Gaza. Of course, it is no surprise that Iran has been supplying Hamas with the weapons and missiles the Islamic jihadist group has used against Israel. On Wednesday, in the wake of a newly announced cease-fire between Israel and Hamas-controlled Gaza, a member of Iran's parliament, or Majlis, Ali Larijani, proclaimed how proud Iran is in  providing military assistance to Hamas.

In an address to MPs during an anti-Israel demonstration, the Iranian Parliament member oozed with pride and pledged to continue supplying Hamas with weapons to use against the Jewish State:

“We are proud that our assistance was material and military in nature.”

“The Palestinian people do not need speeches and meetings, rather they are in need of a serious support. If countries want to be proud, they should provide military assistance to the Palestinian people,” he added.

Further, Palestinian Islamic Jihad leaders also admit missiles fired from Gaza come from Iran. MEMRI provides the translation from remarks made by Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ramadhan Abdallah Shalah in a November 20 interview:

"With regard to the Iranian position – even if we have disagreements with Iran regarding the situation in Syria, I don’t think that we, as the Palestinian resistance, have disagreements with Iran regarding what is happening in Palestine, or regarding the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip. With regard to Palestine, we are in complete agreement with Iran. Iran has given us all the aid and all the support. The weapons that are fighting the Israeli aggression and arrogance in Palestine come mainly from Iran, as the entire world knows. This is no secret. These are either Iranian weapons or weapons financed by Iran." [...]
