Sotomayor snubs AP for People mag on book interview

The Associated Press has details on Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor​'s to-be-released biography. But when the news wire requested an interview from Sotomayor, it was denied.

From the AP's writeup on the book:

Sotomayor declined an interview with AP on Monday. Michelle Somers, her publicist at Knopf, said the justice has agreed to sit down with People magazine and CBS' 60 Minutes as her first print and broadcast interviews. They will run next month, Somers said.

Sotomayor's book, My Beloved World, publishes mid January.
