A great deal of buzz is surrounding "The Bible," a new mini-series slated to premiere on the History Channel on March 3. The show, divided into five parts, will take viewers through 10 hours of Biblical reenactments, covering the holy book's major events from Genesis to Revelation. Created by famed reality-show producer Mark Burnett and his wife, actress Roma Downey, the endeavor is turning heads and creating a fair bit of intrigue. This week, an extended-look trailer has been released, offering new scenes and a fresh lens into what viewers can expect to see.

The four-minute clip opens with a scene featuring Noah and his famed ark. You'll also get a sneak-peak at Moses and the burning bush, Jesus' birth (and baptism), the moments before his crucifixion and the Biblical stories that follow the resurrection. The action-packed video, featuring a litany of scenes from the Judeo-Christian tradition, is worth watching.
