As the northeast prepared for the arrival of winter storm "Nemo", government officials across the region engaged their emergency response plans. In some cases, they held press conferences to announce the plans and ask people to stay home during the storm.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick was one of the officials who made a statement on Thursday. However, it was not the governor's message that is getting all the attention.
