The latest from Reason.tv takes a look at the case of Uwe and Hannelore Romeike, refugees from Germany who insist on homeschooling their children -- an act illegal under German law. The Romeike family currently lives in the U.S., but are awaiting a final verdict on their refugee status from the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. If they're ultimately deported back to German, they could face hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines and could even lose custody of their children.
Reason's Nick Gillespie speaks with Mike Donnelly, a lawyer for the Home School Legal Defense Association and a representative for the Romeike family.
