Did a Bullet from the Boston Shootout Come Flying Through This Man's Wall? See His Pictures
April 19, 2013
" were also utilizing bombs, which sounded and looked like grenades, while engaging in the gunfight..."
As the situation in suburban Boston continues to unfold, locals are turning to social media to share images, videos and other information surrounding what's unfolding. Of course, it's always good to remember that one can't believe everything that he or she sees on Twitter, Facebook and through other citizen-driven networks.
But one image did catch out attention: A photo showing an gunshot that apparently went through a resident's wall and desk chair during the much-discussed police shootout.

In the middle of the night, a man named Andrew Kitzenberg (Twitter user @AKitz), a resident of Waltham, Massachusetts, wrote, "Bullet hole through our wall and the chair." Along with his message came the following image:

And here's another of just the chair:

KTVB-TV seemed to corroborate Kitzenberg's story, noting that he witnessed the shootout, which purportedly occurred outside his apartment. He lives on the second floor of a multi-family home, the outlet reports.
In an interview with NBC News, Kitzenberg delivered some shocking comments about what he saw while he watched at the clash between police and the suspected terrorists.
"They engaged in gunfire for a few minutes," Kitzenberg the said in the interview. "They were also utilizing bombs, which sounded and looked like grenades, while engaging in the gunfight. They also had what looked like a pressure-cooker bomb."
According to the witness, one of the shooters ran toward police and the other got into an SUV. Kitzenberg, however, wasn't able to see what happened next. While the man -- purportedly Suspect Number 1, who ended up dying following the shootout -- collapsed, the bystander said he couldn't tell whether he had been tackled or shot by authorities, KTVB-TV reports.
