Americans have shown a distinct modern-day aversion to foreign news. Although BBC America and CNN International have their devotees who like a fresh non-American news perspective, their U.S. audiences are minuscule.After all, foreign places seem so far away. The names are often unpronounceable. And while those distant lands seem eager to annually accept billions of hard-earned taxpayer dollars in foreign aid, they rarely seem appreciative, much like relatives who borrow money.
