There were 51 reported official deaths as of Tuesday morning as a result of a massive tornado ripping through Moore, Oklahoma, Monday afternoon. It's a number that is expected to rise. And while live coverage of the destruction in the wake of the tornado provided just a glimpse of the tragedy to people not on the ground, some of those who had rode out the storm are giving us a look at what it was like from their perspective.

This video records some of the sounds of the storm while a woman and her family took shelter. You can hear the woman telling a person who is presumably a child that they are in a safe place, everything will be OK and that they should pray (Note: There are no visual images):

This video purportedly shows the tornado blowing overhead from a storm shelter. The man who took the footage says he stuck his camera out of the hole:

Another video that is getting some viral play shows the moment a family emerges from their underground shelter.

A man steps out to ground level and finds everything leveled.

"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away," he says. "Wow."

We should note that it is unclear where exactly the video was first posted and by whom, but it has been reposted to YouTube several times and to LiveLeak.
