We Ain't Scared of Nobody!': New Documentary Claims to Show the KKK Thriving in Deep South
May 23, 2013
"Anybody who doesn’t think the KKK is alive and well today in America, I encourage you to go to the woods of Mississippi and see for yourself."
VICE magazine trekked to Memphis to interview members of the Ku Klux Klan prepping for a rally, and the publication ended up creating a three-part documentary, "Triple Hate," about racism in America.
In the film Klan members are dressed in robes and wear pointed white hoods and assemble in broad daylight...and deep in the woods in the dead of night.
"Anybody who doesn’t think the KKK is alive and well today in America," whispered a Vice reporter standing in a circle of hooded men gathered around a flaming cross, "I encourage you to go to the woods of Mississippi and see for yourself."
