Laura Ingraham, who has 'a lot of close' gay friends, has no opinion on the repeal of DADT
May 28, 2013
In a recent appearance on Larry King Now, conservative radio host Laura Ingraham didn't support gays serving openly in the military. But she didn't not support it, either.
"I don't think I pronounced on that," she said, when host Larry King asked whether she supported the 2011 repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell." I don't have a view on every issue. I mean, I'm not running for office. I don't have a view on every issue. It's really not my focus on my show and I happen to-- I hate saying that-- I happen to have a lot of close friends who are gay."
Ingraham has said in the past that she has a gay brother and that being gay isn't "a choice." She is, however, outspoken in her views against same-sex marriage.
