Can we just take a second to reflect on how nutty this story is?
A tea kettle has been pulled from the shelves of JCPenney for resembling Adolf Hitler.
The public consciousness of political correctness has officially reached insane new levels. The reincarnation of Adolf Hitler is now seen in an inanimate kitchen appliance...?
Puh-lease. This is obviously just an advertisement for a tea kettle Charlie Chaplin.
PS -- Bad news for the anti-Hitler tea kettle crowd. All of your outrage has just made this "controversial" hot pot something of a collector's item.
JCPenney may have pulled it from the shelves, but you can still get your very own $40 "Hitler tea kettle" on eBay for the low, low price of... $225.00.
