Inquiring minds are in overdrive: Did Raven-Symone, who played cute-as-a-button Olivia on the 1980s sitcom "The Cosby Show," indicate via Twitter that she is a lesbian?

Symone posted this tweet on Friday:

In response to media inquiries after that tweet, her representatives insisted that "Raven is not getting married. She was just supporting the act that she heard on NPR that more states legalized gay marriage today," CNN reports.

"I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted," the actress said later in a statement through her representatives, CNN added. "I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to."

The National Enquirer wrote a story last year suggesting that Symone was living with former "America's Top Model" contestant AzMarie Livingston, Today reports; Symone had this to say in response at the time:

Upon finishing her gig with "The Cosby Show," Symone starred alongside Eddie Murphy in "Dr. Dolittle" films and then got her own show, Disney Channel's "That's So Raven."
