Apple will announce the next iPhone early next month, a prominent technology blog reported late Saturday.
According to AllThingsD, the tech giant is set to unveil its latest iPhone at a special event on Sept. 10. Last year, Apple announced the iPhone 5 on Sept. 12.

AllThingsD said Apple declined to comment on the validity of the rumor. AllThingsD is owned by Dow Jones, which publishes The Wall Street Journal.
In June, Apple teased consumers with their new iOS 7 software which features a radically new and streamlined design. The new iOS is set to debut at an unknown date later this fall.
