Teacher Allegedly Had Sex With Underage Students in Classroom, Offered it as a 'Prize
August 17, 2013
A special education teacher at a high school in southern California has been charged with 16 sex-related felony crimes, the Riverside County District's Attorney's Office said in a press release earlier this week.
Summer Michelle Hansen, 31, is accused of having "unlawful sexual intercourse" and "unlawful oral copulation" with five underage boys.
According to the District Attorney's office, some of the crimes even took place on the Centennial High School campus.
"The crimes are alleged to have taken place from May 2012 through May 2013, and took place in her classroom, in a utility room at the school, in her vehicle while parked near one victim's home, and at another victim's home," said the press release.

It added that "none of victims were her students" but the boys "were all students at Centennial High and all five were under the age of 18 years old when the crimes happened."
One court document reportedly says Hansen offered sex to a student at the school as a "prize" for doing well in a baseball game.
If convicted, Hansen could face up to 13 years in prison.
Hansen's attorney David Cohn told The Press Enterprise last month that he is confident his client is innocent.
"She's adamant that she's done nothing wrong," he said.
TheBlaze could not reach Cohn for comment, despite multiple attempts.
