We're only two weeks into the NFL season, but one Atlanta Falcons player has given us an early frontrunner for hit of the year.
During the second quarter of Atlanta's win over the St. Louis Rams, safety William Moore unloaded on Mike McNeill. But it wasn't just any big hit, it's being called a WWE-style wrestling hit. And when you see it, you'll understand why:
Here's how it happened live:
"You've heard about irresistible force meeting immovable object?" Yahoo's Jay Busbee writes. "Yeah, turns out this particular object was very movable indeed."
"We're honestly not sure if we're supposed to celebrate hits any more in the NFL," he adds, "but in this case ... wow."
