Soledad O'Brien, an anchor at CNN before having her morning show canceled, hasn't been watching much of the channel these days.
"I don't know, I haven't seen much of it," she told TheBlaze at Al Jazeera America's launch party in New York on Thursday. We had asked if she liked the direction the channel was going under the new leadership of Jeff Zucker.
It was announced in February that O'Brien would be leaving CNN, starting her own media company but still occasionally providing specials for the cable channel. Five months later she teamed up with Al Jazeera America.
"I had a documentary on [CNN] ... and it was great," O'Brien continued. "You know, I have four kids and they've all just started school so I"m certainly not up late at night watching TV. So I wouldn't be in a position to judge."
