Geraldo being sued by 'greedy, rapacious' talent agency

The William Morris Endeavor Agency, a global talent agency that claims to have represented Geraldo Rivera, is suing the Fox News anchor, according to TMZ:

The suit claims William Morris renegotiated Geraldo's Fox deal a few years back -- a deal that ran through 2011, but Geraldo allegedly just stopped paying the 10% commission 2 years before the deal ended.

“This is an example of the rapacious greed of Hollywood agents," Rivera told the Daily News in response to the lawsuit. "I’m going to fight them to the death!”

Rivera also tweeted on the issue Tuesday. "Greedy rapacious agent I Have Never Met & who never negotiated anything for me is suing me," he wrote. He threw in a reference to the popular show "Entourage": "Like Ari from Entourage-Justice will prevail." (We didn't watch the show so we can't explain... sorry.)

But it seems Rivera is doing just fine. Wednesday morning he tweeted a photo of him and his wife smiling in front of a boat. "Bon Voyage sweet boat," the tweet said.

It's been an odd year for Rivera. Over the summer he sent out (then deleted) a booze-inspired semi-nude selfie. It led to a scheduled appearance at a Catholic university to be canceled by the school's administration. He had a motorcycle accident that left him injured. He also suffered a botched back surgery leaving his foot crippled.
