Shock Footage Shows SUV with Man, Woman, and Child Plowing Into Group of Bikers -- and How the Riders Decided to Get Revenge

UPDATE: Police make arrest

Stunning footage uploaded to YouTube on Sunday shows a black Range Rover plowing into a group of bikers after they allegedly started damaging the driver's vehicle following an accident.

The driver, only identified as a 33-year-old Asian man by police, dialed 911 to report a group of motorcyclists "driving erratically" shortly before he struck one of the drivers, Detective Marc Nell of the New York Police Department (NYPD) told TheBlaze on Monday.

Nell said that when the driver pulled over following the accident, which occurred Sunday at 1:30pm ET, the group of motorcyclists began to "interact with the Range Rover" causing the Asian man to drive into the pack of bikers out of fear for his safety.

The entire incident was caught on video by an unidentified biker's helmet camera and shows the bikers pursuing the Range Rover after he plowed into several bikers.

In the chase, another biker is also struck by the driver of the SUV, after he approaches the vehicle on the highway.

Eventually the pursuit comes to a stand-still in Manhattan traffic and several bikers began to smash the Range Rover's windows and assault the driver, who was accompanied by a woman and child.

"The motorcycles began to assault the male Asian who was driving the Range Rover," said Nell.

"Those motorcyclists then fled the scene and the male Asian was transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries," he added.

Nell said the entire incident is still under investigation and said it was "to be determined" whether the driver would face any charges for hitting the motorcyclists.

Several individuals on YouTube commented in defense of the driver.

"He was in defense of himself and his wife and kid," wrote a user with the username "iced3life3."
