When a man entered a local pharmacy in Dumas, Ark., with intentions to rob the establishment, he unknowingly put his life in danger. That's because the pharmacist he was demanding money from was actually a concealed carry permit holder.
The pharmacist was just opening the store at around 5:30 a.m. on Friday when a gun-wielding, mask-wearing man, identified as 31-year-old Tavell Lawson, burst into the store and demanded money.
"The pharmacist initially retreated, but when he could retreat no longer, he pulled his own concealed weapon and shot and killed the masked gunman," KARK-TV reports.
Police confirmed to the news station that the pharmacist is a legal concealed carry permit holder.
