Is Siri a Secret Ron Paul Fan?

"Siri, what are your political views?"

Siri appears to be a fan of Ron Paul.

If asked what her political views are, Apple's virtual assistant will redirect iO7 users to a Wikipedia entry of former Texas congressman and libertarian icon Ron Paul's political positions.

"The political positions of Ron Paul (R-TX), United States presidential candidate in 1988, 2008, and 2012, are generally described as libertarian, but have also been labeled conservative and Constitutionalist," the entry states.

A spokesperson for Apple did not immediately respond to TheBlaze's request for comment.

In 2011, some outlets observed that Siri would not locate abortion clinics and responded "no comment" when asked if she was anti-abortion. However, Apple later denied the virtual assistant had a political position on the issue, saying her inability to locate abortion clinics was not intentional.

"Our customers want to use Siri to find out all types of information, and while it can find a lot, it doesn’t always find what you want,” Natalie Kerris, a spokeswoman for Apple, said at the time. “These are not intentional omissions meant to offend anyone."
