This College Senior Could Try to Recreate His Incredible Buzzer-Beater 50 Times – and He Probably Wouldn't Make It Again

Huntington University senior Shane Merryman hit the shot of his life on Tuesday night as the ball he heaved from three-quarters court miraculously found its way to the bottom of the net as time expired.

The incredible shot secured Huntington University's 62-59 victory over NAIA conference rival Marian.

"Only seven tenths of a second remained in the game when Huntington inbounded the ball, so Merryman had no time to do anything but catch, release and pray," Yahoo! Sports notes.

As for Merryman, he finished the game with 23 points and got the added bonus of becoming a viral hit.
