New Yorkers Who Donated Money to a Homeless Duo Were Not Prepared for What Happened Next
December 23, 2013
"What are you doing?"
“What happens when you give back to those who give?" prankster Jerome Jarre asked in a video uploaded this month to YouTube.
Well if your name is Jarre and you pose as a vagrant on the streets of New York City, the answer to that question is pretty heartwarming.
With the help his violinist friend “DSharp,” the YouTube prankster put on his saddest face and camped out on a city corner in 20-degree weather, asking random strangers if they could spare some change.
And for the New Yorkers who took a moment to donate cash to the supposedly “homeless” duo, they received a pleasant surprise: A fresh bouquet of flowers and $100 cash.

“What are you doing?” a New Yorker who gave the homeless duo some cash asked when she received her surprise presents.
“Why did you give me money?” the jovial Jarre responded.
It’s all pretty fun. Enjoy:
