Legendary MMA Fighter Breaks Leg In 'One of the Most Gruesome Scenes In UFC History

A legendary MMA fighter's career may be over after he broke his left leg Saturday night in what has been described as "one of the most gruesome scenes in UFC history."

The incident happened when Anderson Silva fired off a kick at Chris Weidman during the second round of a middleweight title fight, according to the New York Post.

Video of the brutal incident graphically shows Silva's leg snap in half as he lands the kick.

The fight was immediately stopped as the legendary fighter fell in the ring in what may have been his final match.

Afterwards, Weidman offered a glowing review of Silva, saying he will "known as the greatest of all time," according to the New York Post.
