Let this be a lesson for everyone who considers photobombing a news broadcast: watch where you step.
A Detroit Red Wings fan was excited for the Jan. 1 game and wanted to show everyone watching the local news. Stepping behind a WJBK-TV reporter Jennifer Hammond decked out in red and white Red Wings attire for the NHL Winter Classic, the fan waved frantically but within seconds he was on the ground.

He slipped an icy sidewalk.

Hammond kept going with her report, not missing a beat, while the embarrassed fan got up and walked away as if nothing happened.

"We're going to send it back to you in the toasty warm studio," Hammond ended.
