Meghan McCain worried she'll be a mistfit as a Republican in Los Angeles

Off-now-on-again news pundit Meghan McCain made the move from New York City (where there are few Republicans) to Los Angeles (where there are also few Republicans) to start her new gig as a co-host on "TakePartLive," a late-night current events show on cable channel Pivot.

Though she not too long ago threatened to leave the GOP, McCain is nervous she'll be out of place in her new environment.

"So what do we estimate… are there, like, six Republicans total in all of Los Angeles County?" McCain tweeted late Wednesday night. "What am I going to be dealing with here..."

To help soothe McCain's soul, TheBlaze Blog looked into L.A. County's political makeup. According to the Public Policy Institute of California, 30 percent of the state's Democratic likely voters live in that area. For Republicans, it's 19 percent.

McCain may not be so alone after all.
