Glenn Beck Had a 'Scary' Gun Moment On-Air That Might Make You Laugh Out Loud

"Ring the bell! Call the police! Holy cow..."

Glenn Beck had a "scary" gun moment on-air Friday with his radio co-hosts, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere.

It centered around the story of an Ohio fifth-grader who was suspended after exposing his fellow schoolchildren to a "level two lookalike firearm."

"If I say to you, 'somebody in this building has a level two lookalike firearm,' what do you think that is?" Beck asked. "The level two lookalike firearm is his finger."

"You're spinning it," Burguiere interrupted with heavy sarcasm, making the shape of a gun with his own hand. "It's not just his finger. It's his finger and his thumb."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Beck said with mock fear. "Don't point that at Pat! Put that down!"

The group proceeded to ask whether Burguiere's "level two lookalike firearm" had its safety on or whether it was cocked, but Burguiere didn't holster the lookalike weapon.

"Damn! Texas -- Texas allows you to come in here higgeldy-piggeldy with a level two lookalike firearm!" Beck said, eying the appendage warily.

"Where am I going to put it?" Burgiere asked with a laugh, looking at his hand.

"Don't, don't you're pointing it directly at me!" Beck said. "Put it down. Ring the bell! Call the police! Holy cow..."

"I'm sorry, that was a scary moment," Beck said in a relieved tone. "Are you okay, Pat?"

Abandoning sarcasm, Beck asked his audience why schools would begin calling a hand a “level two lookalike firearm.”

"Because it will stop people from mocking the teachers and the principals," he suggested. "When your kids come home and they say, 'Johnny got suspended because he had a [level two look alike firearm],' you're like, 'What the hell is a level two lookalike firearm? I'm against that. What the hell is Johnny doing?'"

But if you were told that Johnny "put his finger and thumb in the shape of a gun," your reaction to the suspension might be, that's "just stupid."

Beck then drew a circle on a piece of paper, saying it is "clearly the barrel of a gun, and it's pointed at you."
