Tensions got high during Saturday afternoon's game between Stony Brook and Albany.
During the intense America East title game, video captured the two mascots exchanging body blows. The Great Dane can be seen walking over to the Stony Brook student section where he is confronted by Wolfie the Seawolf.
Video shows event personnel intervening to break up the scuffle.
Footage later posted to Instagram appears to show the two mascots make up.
Albany ultimately won the game 69-60.
