Individuals Usually Do a Better Job Than Collective Big Government': A Hollywood Actor Actually Said That

"I’m a Hollywood pinhead, Bill."

Actor Rob Lowe, who recently said the government should be “out of almost everything," doubled down on his views Wednesday in an entertaining interview with Bill O’Reilly.

When O’Reilly pressed him about his political views and his “pinhead” friends in Hollywood, Lowe elaborated on his recent comments while at the same time trying to avoid being labeled by a specific ideology.

“Equality for everyone is great,” the actor said. “I just think that individuals usually do a better job than collective big government.”

O’Reilly pointed out that his views sounded “libertarian,” though Lowe made it clear he’s not a fan of political labels.

“I’m a Hollywood pinhead, Bill. I don’t know about political labels,” Lowe joked. “I spent all this time shedding the dogma of political labels, and now you’re telling me I have to go back to living under a political label?”

Lowe also clarified that the country obviously needs government for certain “big-ticket items.” The actor was on the program to promote his new book, "Love Life."
