Man in Superman Outfit Lives Up to His Attire After Life-Saving Act Involving a Baby
April 14, 2014
“I’d seen they needed help..."
It looked like a job for Superman — and sure enough, it was.
A four-alarm fire that broke out early Saturday morning in Dallas left a family with no other choice but to jump off their patio to safety.
Only problem? They had a baby.
That's when a man clothed in a Superman outfit came to the rescue.

“I’d seen they needed help and they were scared to come down with their baby and I was like I’m right here, I’ll catch ‘em so that’s what I did and then another dude helped get his wife down and then he jumped down and got them to safety,” said Tori Phillips, who was wearing a Superman hoodie when he arrived to help.
Phillips lost his apartment, but told KXAS-TV saving the baby far outweighs what he lost.
The fire sent two people including a firefighter to the hospital. IT destroyed dozens of units, according to KXAS.
