"Thank God they didn't kill her..."
Miami police say at least two white males broke into a home early Wednesday morning and targeted a particularly helpless individual: a 91-year-old woman.
According to WPLG-TV, police say that when the woman woke out of bed a suspect threw her to the ground and held her down while at least one other individual continued ransacking the home.
The suspects even snatched a gold chain from the 91-year-old woman's neck, police said.
"This victim is 91 years of age and we want to emphasize that at any moment she could have been hurt or killed," Sgt. Freddie Cruz told TheBlaze Wednesday afternoon.

"Thank God they didn't kill her and didn't hurt her," he added.
Surveillance video from a neighboring property captured the intruders leaving in a white SUV and white pickup truck hauling a trailer, according to WPLG.
Police say the woman was not seriously harmed during the invasion, but are still looking for the suspects.
