If You Need a Reason Why You Shouldn’t Take a ‘Selfie’ Right Next to an Oncoming Train, Here It Is
April 16, 2014
"I messed up."
A young man apparently thought he would get a cool selfie in front of an oncoming train. While he thought he was safely out of the train's way, he got another kind of surprise.
"I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a 'safe' distance behind. I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up," the man going by Jared Michael on YouTube wrote.
Just one second into the footage as the train begins to fly by, a foot, presumably from the conductor, kicks the man in the head.
"Wow, that guy kicked me in the head," Michael said in the video. "I think I got that on film."
You sure did, Michael. Watch the footage:
While it's shocking footage, this could be yet another example of a video made up in the hopes that it would go viral. If you search "Jared Michael" on YouTube, his name actually shows up as Jared Frank, but clicking on his account, the name changes back to Jared Michael. While this might not be unusual, it's something worth noting.
