April 21, 2014
"...will be forwarding it to internal affairs for review and investigation."
A Texas police officer was captured on video Saturday pushing and tripping students as they rushed the field after a high school soccer match. And now the Georgetown Police Department has issued a statement saying they are forwarding the video to internal affairs.

“Georgetown administrators have taken the information and will be forwarding it to internal affairs for review and investigation,” police captain Roland Waits said Sunday evening, according to KXAN-TV.
The incident occurred after Vandegrift High School's state soccer win Saturday and was caught on camera by a student at the game.
“He should’ve used better judgement,” Rohan Gupta, who shot the video, told KXAN. “We’re high schoolers just trying to have some fun after our team won.”
A spokesperson for the Georgetown Police Department was not immediately available for comment to TheBlaze.
