California Chrome Wins Kentucky Derby

Commanding Curve and Danza finished second and third, respectively.

California Chrome took the lead down the stretch for the win at the 140th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, ESPN reported.

The winning jockey was Victor Espinoza and Art Sherman became the oldest winning Derby trainer at 77. The race was run in front of 164,906, the second largest crowd in Derby history.

Commanding Curve and Danza finished second and third, respectively.
